@Truth Bombs: @LAZB: Lol, that would be a shock!
@starlitsky: Amazing news!
@TrailRunner: LOL, I will make myself stalk-able for sure! bahaha. I'm excited to be able to participate again. I popped into the 6+ month TTC board and it seems so much more intense!
@bluestriped bee: That's great! I'm so happy something worked for you! Twins would absolutely be a struggle, but totally worth it. DH has twin sisters so I think my MIL might be able to offer some helpful advice. She had 4 under 5... eekk!

I was on Femera for all of my 6 IUI cycles but unfortunately they all were unsuccessful. IVF ended up working for me and I did end up having twins. I did always wanted twins so the risk of multiples while on Femera didn't bother me. I would have been happy with one baby but a little part of me wished for twins. My twins are 4 months and some days are hard but I love being a twin mom.

@WinterBee: ah the twin gene is maternal? Good to know!

Good luck with Letrozole! I was diagnosed with PCOS too and was able to get pregnant on my first cycle with Clomid. :goodluck:

Good for you for getting this addressed and getting started on a plan. Make sure to keep updating so I can keep stalking you. :silly: :heart: :goodluck:

@NCSUchick27: 3 babies to 37 weeks?! Incredible!
@Hoots: @travellingbee: Congrats!!

@skipra: Whoa! That's a lot of twins!
@LAZB: Great news!
@MOMTOLITTLEB: That sounds likely. I have one set of twins on my dad side, but they're 2nd or 3rd cousins...
@starlitsky: DH has twins too, but since the 'twin' gene is maternal it makes sense. Congrats on your baby!
@TrailRunner: Good! It was an emotional couple months, but after a few doctors appointments I was diagnosed with PCOS and told I don't ovulate on my own. I was upset at first, but so happy to be progressing forward. This will be our first cycle with letrozole, I'm super excited, but also nervous!

Thank you to everyone who responded, I LOVE all the happy endings! (beautiful babies!) It gives me hope. :happy: :heart:

I don't have any personal experience but I used to be part of a local board and almost every single woman who conceived with Clomid had twins. It was crazy but I am pretty sure that is not the norm! Good luck and I hope the new protocol is successful!

I had a clomid singleton, but two people DH works with had twins with clomid. Both sets were girls. My RE said she's only had clomid triplets three times and she's been practicing for about twenty-five years. I remember telling her I'd prefer not to be number four.

Clomid singleton here. I can't remember the exact stats but I know the chances of multiple was less than 10%. And I'd rather have twins than no children at all, so.... clomid for the win, haha.

Our doctor said letrozole has less chance of multiples than clomid does, but I'm still curious. I'm terrified of twins! haha.

Title sums it up.
Did anyone end up having a multiples pregnancy after taking clomid or femara? Do twins run in your family? Or do you think it was a result of the drugs?

I'm starting letrozole this week and I've been thinking about it for the past couple days. Hoping to hear some experiences.

Thanks!
