We gave my DD half a flint stone with iron as well when she was 2. My DS gets one Honest Company vitamin a day, which has iron, and he's 2.5

@Mrs Green Grass: We used the same till LO was 1 years old. In his 1 and 2 year check up he was fine and didn't need to have any more supplements.

We were instructed to put in his 1/4 of his milk and have him drink that then give him the rest of his milk. So you can probably put in juices or milk. :)

@mrs. bird: We use the same one! I break it in half and he's had no problem chewing it up. We got the same results at our 2 year check up. Gahhhh!!

my understanding was that they were weren't allowed to put it in the gummy ones because of the risk of kids ODing on them. do you cook in cast iron? that's an easy way to up your iron intake! flintstones also makes a chewable multi vitamin with extra iron

Just came back from DD 2 year wellness visit and turns out that her hemoglobin levels are a bit low and her ped recommended her take a multivitamin w/iron in it. Looking around it's hard to find a gummy vitamin with iron in it. Recommend one for me?
