He gets the flinstone gummies. He started talking them around 18 months, and never had any issues with chewing them.

We do a children's chewable with iron. Our dentist discouraged the gummy.

He gets the flintstones gummy ones formulated for 2-3 year olds. He also had one prescribed by the pediatrician with fluoride but those weren't as appealing.

She gets a gummy one. I have never worried about her and eating gummies. We started when she turned 2 per the pedi.

My son won't touch most fruits or vegetables so I give him a Flinstones chewable (not the gummy) each morning. He loves them and will ask for one if I forget.

I've been giving LO 1 Smarty Pants gummy vitamin daily since she was about 18 months per our ped's recommendation. I have very high iron levels and don't want to give LO a vitamin with iron until we figure out if she has the same, so gummies it is.

I give DS the Flintstone gummy multivitamins. He's a pretty good eater, but there are days where he is picky. He doesn't have a problem with the gummies. He just turned 2. He's been eating "chewy/gummy" things since he was 18 months. I did watch him the first couple times he ate the gummy just to make sure all is well.

E (28 months) gets a Flinstones gummy vitamins, which our ped recommended. I could NOT get her to take the liquid. Have you tried it? It tastes like ASS. Seriously grossed me out. She gets one a morning. She doesn't eat a variety all the time, so it can't hurt. And, honestly, they were on sale (buy 1 get 1) at Walgreens. I don't process folic acid and B vitamins properly, and if E can't, then the vitamin is good!

I give a gummy that has calcium and vitamin D, since my son doesn't drink milk. I try to give him other dairy products, but I think most days he doesn't get enough, so the vitamin helps.

We do the trader joes chewable that come in the bear container and started at two. She also started getting a gummy calcium also from trader joes starting a little after two and has done fine with them.

Love these Alive brand chewables.

http://www.naturesway.com/Alive-Children-s-Multi-Chewables-120-ct

Also, trader joes makes a good kids chewable as well.
I only give one at a time and don't give them every day. I don't think they are necessary but I think it helps for the pickier periods.

I looked into vitamins but decided against them (my LO will be 2 in a week). I don't think there is any harm in giving them I just don't think they are necessary. Our ped agreed with this. And I'm super paranoid about choking so I don't feel comfortable giving her gummies. Here's an article from MayoClinic about it:
http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/nutrition-and-healthy-eating/expert-answers/multivitamins/faq-20058310

What do you all do about vitamins for toddlers? My son just turned two so he seems a little young for a gummy. But the liquid is so disgusting. Does he even need one? He's not a great eater in terms of volume but likes fruits and veggies.
