The thing was I wasn't trying to get into my account when that happened and immediately deleted the emails. I looked online and saw that many people have been hacked in the past 36 hours and its always through Amazon.de and the email address always ends with @mail.ru<br /> It is super frustrating because I rely on amazon so much and but amazon's investigation team told me that while they investigate all the accounts that have been hacked, the accounts must be deactivated.<br /> I'm also terrified of being a victim of identity theft, i am in the process of reordering new cards and changing passwords.<br /> if you use amazon i highly recommend changing your log in to the 2 step verification process. to avoid this happening to you </p>
