Once the showing was done, we brought him home and decided to turn off their lights as the agent had left lights on in the whole house and the ILs were out for the evening. I went in to the guest room and turned off the lamp but while making my way back to the door in the dark, my belly knocked in to a glass table and tipped. It was a glass top with glass legs on a carpeted surface, right at belly height. Really stupid setup as it was super unsteady. </p> <p>Of course it also dumped a huge bamboo plant they had on it, on to a beige carpet and all the dirty bamboo water sloshed everywhere on the carpet. </p> <p>I freaked out but didn't remember ever seeing the table before so I asked DH while silently praying it didn't have any sentimental value. He agreed he'd never seen it and that they must have bought it just to decorate the house. </p> <p>WRONG. It was my DH's Oma's table originally and they just had it shipped over from another province. Thankfully, they salvaged it and paid for a new top. Good as new. It's in their new place and my son, niece and nephew have all taken turns almost knocking it down. I think the thing is destined to be broken eventually. </p> <p>@sweetooth: Bird poop is suppose to be good luck! I would take it as a good luck omen for baby! What are the chances though lol..
