I tried and tried from 25 months to 29 months and it was just full of a lot of accidents, tantrums, worries about accidents, etc. Then one day it clicked around 31 months. I wouldn't force it. DS1 is 2.5 and we've introduced the potty idea but he's not into it. I have tried everything, bribing, different potties, just let her pee in special underwear she picked out, etc and she has NEVER once peed in the potty. She is very interested in jelly beans so I thought for sure that would work. Nope. If I try to put her on the potty once she starts grabbing her crotch or starts peeing, she has a full on tantrum. She just tells me she wont go on the potty. So, should I just shelve it for awhile? Get rid of all diapers? Try again in a month? I'm at a loss.
