I lover how clueless some people can be. My mom came up right after lo was born and she started harassing me about going to get pictures done before she went back home. She got all pissy with me because "she wasn't going to get pics with her grand babies after coming all this way!" I lost it and yelled at her about how I was "so sorry" that I had just had major abdominal surgery less than a week ago and I just couldn't be running around to get pictures taken yet. I love them and my mom has always been great, but not instinctually maternal in any way at all.</p> <p>8 hrs after giving birth my mom and grandma come to visit. Grandma looks me over and says "oh your stomach still didn't go down yet huh?" And my mom laughs as DH is talking about how I started labor and says "it hurt a lot didn't it? He heheh!"</p> <p>5 hours after getting home from the hospital my parents come to our house and my dad asks "So where are we going for dinner?" To which I tell him "we JUST got home from the hospital" (on a rainy day nonetheless) and then my mom says, "but didn't they discharge you at 11 am?" Later in the night she gets a headache and tells me she needs to lie down and if I can get her a cup of tea. I'm pretty frank with them and tell them they are supposed to be helping me and not the other way around and she knows where everything is! I find out later me mil had to make my mom tea and wash all their cups and dishes which left everywhere. Yeah....my family can be so clueless and crazy. Tell me I'm not the only one with these kinda doozies </p>
