Our LO tends to live in onesies, leggings, and socks, so easy for diaper changes. Also, if I'm taking her out, I can put a sleeper over the onesie and pull of the leggings. She does get cute outfits for church and special occasions.

not weird! i really like babies to look like babies! we especially love our hanna anderssons with baby mocs. all of his other clothing is cotton or fleece because i can't imagine that napping and sitting on the floor in jeans is comfortable.

I didn't put anything but sleepers or onesies with pants on my girl until about 7 months, when it got warm enough to just wear dresses and bloomers. No way was I going to futz with a bunch of clothing when I was still changing a ton of diapers a day.

Yes! He's usually in sleep n plays except when we leave the house. Only recently, ive started putting him in other clothes so he gets some use out of them.

My DS is 6.5 months old and we still take him out in sleepers. I say to DH that we are the laziest parents ever. The reason why we do it is because it's just so convenient for diaper changes, and DS used to *HATE* having shirts put over him! Heck, he wears the same sleeper until we bathe him, which is at most 3 times a week! *Hangs head in semi-shame* =P

I guess I should have her wear some of the outfits at least once but some of the outfits are a little over the top like a tutu dress. its cute but so impractical.

I swore I'd never do this because I always thought they were so ugly but when DS was a teeny newborn in December & January, I just wanted him to be cozy, warm & comfy. He was in them alll the time :)
Unless we went out or had company of course! haha

Yup 11 weeks here and that's about all he wears unless I feel guilty seeing something someone bought and I do a photo in it. They just look so much comfort and are easy. That's all ill ever buy as a baby gift again!

When she's at home and lounging this is what she wears and if its' a cold day she wears one to daycare. Otherwise I dress her up.

@BabyBoecksMom: same!
The only reason I ever dress him in outfits is to check them off our list as "worn once". I just feel bad because he has so many. I prefer sleep n plays though. Or 2peices that have foot covers and that are just cotton...no buttons or zippers on pants.

I do! I *dress* her if I am taking her out for a walk, to the Ped, etc., but otherwise, I try to keep her as comfy as possible, and avoid multiple pieces.

During the weekend, we sometimes do that because I'm lazy and don't change him right away. When he was first born, we had him in kimono t-shirts and a diaper. I don't think that he wore any newborn clothes we received.

*raises hand*! we do! it's chilly where we are in the winter, and they are just so much more comfy and warm. i don't like having waistbands cut into his belly for no reason :) also, socks are always too tight around his chubby ankles :)

in the summer the ratio of sleepers to regular clothes gets better.... hahahaha :D

Absolutely! Especially when she was younger. The only reason we put her in cute clothes is because I was given so many that I wanted her to wear them at least once before she grows out of them.

DD has a lot of clothes, but it seems DH and I only put her in sleep and plays because it seems more comfortable and easy for us. We only put her in cute outfits when we're going out to see family but at home and when she goes to her baby sitter's house I put her in sleep and plays.

Does anyone else do this?
