I haven't had our dog eat that. But our dog ate chicken bones. Our tiny chihuahua ate 4 chicken wings. I was so freaked out. If you are worried, you can go to the vet and they can take x rays and make sure everything is okay.

My dog didn't swallow a corn cob, but a mango pit (I was slicing one up and it slipped out of my hands). We kept checking his stools for the first few weeks, but never saw any evidence.

Months (literally-- must have been 9 months) went by and we forgot all about it. Then he stopped eating one night, and kept getting in a praying/downward dog (ha!) pose. Ran some tests and x-rays, then we had to operate.

Hopefully it passes without any issue! Just keep checking his poop! My friends' dog would eat whole socks and they would come right on out.

My aunt's lab ate a full-sized corn cob...he had to have surgery :( BUT it was a big one, not just a 3-inch one, so I really hope that doesn't happen to your dog (and your wallet)! How big is your dog?

Tonight we had corn on the cob with dinner.....

M was eating from a 3" cob...she was done and chucked it on the floor like she does with everything when she's done with her meal. A split second literally and the dog ate it. Sigh.

Going to keep our eye on her so hopefully she either pukes or poops it out in the next 48 hours. Otherwise it might be an expensive removal surgery. :(

Anyone else's dog ate corn on the cob? What happened?
