It sounds so weird to say but we hope it's just inflammation due to infection or an illness!</p> <p>@mrsmenow: They told DH that they would call him Wednesday. </p> <p>They were able to test right in their office to see if it was just a cyst that they could drain but it wasn't so they had to send out the results. He's been shaking and sometimes limping. He's also had this big red bump on his ear. They took blood from it and said it's not a cyst so they're sending the sample out to test it. She said from what she can see, it's either his body's way of fighting an infection/illness or it could be cancer.</p> <p>I think both DH and I are trying not to really think about it until we get an answer because she didn't say it's likely cancer, she just said it's a possibility. I'm still worried though and I hate having to wait until tomorrow for the results. It doesn't look like a big enough spot to cause an issue even if it is cancer. It looks like he could go through some treatment and probably just have it removed but I'm obviously not really an expert on these things so I guess I don't really know.</p> <p>I'm just nervous and needed to get this out somewhere. I just hope he's going to be okay, no matter what the results are. </p>
