I had a ruptured ectopic last fall, and though we were done having kids (it was also a case of failed Mirena) even then the emotions that I dealt with were confusing and hard. I can only imagine what you are going through &lt;3 </p> <p>I also was so unsure of my symptoms, and even ended up at a hospital, where they did a pregnancy test, and despite bleeding, extreme pain localized to one side and a positive test, I was sent home. I thought she thought my dates were wrong-like I was 5weeks not 6.5 weeks. Ectopic wasn't even on my radar until the pain started. It's amazing that the doctor was able to save your tube. A friend of mine had a similar experience but in her case, she lost her tube an ovary. Such a traumatic experience either way. I'm glad that nurse was diligent and spoke up about her worry.
