I read reviews and the consensus seemed to be that LO's outgrow the first anywhere very quickly. LO used it to learn to pull herself up when she was around 8-9 months, and at 18 months she sits in it all the time! We have the small one and he still uses it every day. I plan to get a new cover one day for LO2 and won't feel bad upgrading DS to the next size up when he needs it. She got it when she was 9 months old and has loved it ever since! She'll be 3 in March! I would get the regular size if I were you! She climbs in and out of it no problem. Her school has the my first chair. She has loved it since she learned to walk and climb (ten months)...but honestly she's already almost outgrown it. I asked her to purchase the regular sized one. She went to PBK today with J and loves the smaller chair cause it's the right height/size for her at the moment. She's going to be 7 months next week. Did anyone purchase the smaller version instead of the bigger one? She insists that she will get her the small one and them get her the bigger one once she outgrows it. Seems like a waste of $ to me. Also, how old were your LOs when they became interested in their chair?
