My daughter went through the scraping tongue stage. And the spitting out stage. She actually still spits food out, but shes learned NOT to spit it out on the table or on the floor. :P At almost 2 years old the pickiness still comes and goes.. Today she ate like a freaking champ. She loved her veggies and fruits. She never used to spit out food. Then a few days ago, she started spitting food out as soon as she put it in her mouth. Today, she started scraping food off her tongue with her hands!! She's rejected: peas, broccoli, pears, grapes...and some days she'll devour one thing and spit it out on other days. I am stressed, ladies. I really don't want to only give her carbs, and i don't want to resort to adding extra salt and sugar so she'll eat something.
