We just got to feed and snuggle her for a bit, but her levels went back up :( they are going to add a light above her to the light blanket below to try and intensify the treatment. They aren't worried, but of course I am. Luckily she is still being very laid back and eating well. </p> <p>It looks like they want to discharge me this evening but will let me stay the night as a non patient. He said I could come home at 9pm if I wanted. We left at 230 and I made it three hours. Even though I really needed a break, I could barely stand that last hour!! I'm pretty amazed at this whole thing. LO hasn't been spending much time with us here at the hospital; she unfortunately developed jaundice and has to be on a phototherapy blanket except for feedings. At one point in the night, she started developing a fever and they started talking about IVs and such and I don't think I've ever been so scared in my life. </p> <p>Overall, it's been a really great few days. She still is using the shield to feed but we are going to keep working on her latch without. My point in posting, I suppose, is that I really want to bring my squeaky baby home today, so if you could send good vibes our way, I'd love it. I want my little second heart with me!! </p>
