I have no idea why but we discovered that LO was fine if we strapped him in the seat and then put it in the car (either inside the house or on the curb), but he HATED being strapped into the seat if we'd just left it in the base in the car. My kiddo hates the actual strapping in part but he's perfectly happy as soon as it's done. Is this normal?? He looks uncomfortable, even though I think the shoulder straps are in the correct place, just slightly under the top of his shoulders. He'll start crying even before we tighten anything! He usually settles down and dozes off after 10 mins of driving, unless there's a lot of stop and go. </p> <p>Is there a way to make this less uncomfortable for him?? </p>
