I miss my WOHM friends from home - I feel like we have more in common. I have found most SAHMs here to be more conservative than I am. All my SAHM friends have recently either returned to work or moved away. It's hard! It is hard to forge relationships at this point. I'm trying to work on getting friendlier with my fellow daycare moms. Overall I have a mix of sah and woh/wahm friends. Most of my things in common aren't necessarily about kids though, so our friendships haven't changed at all from work status changes or differences! I just don't have a ton of close mom friends near me! I know mostly WOH parents, but I know a few SAH, I know some part timers in and out of the house. I know SAH dads and WAH dads that do most of the pick up and drop offs. I have friends that don’t have kids yet and friends that never want to have kids. Friends that are single and friends that are divorce. My sister is a mostly SAHM although she works two nights a week. We don't really have trouble relating to each other because we understand each other's situations so well.
