Ripping money in half sounds like a lot of fun for a toddler. Lately my LO has been obsessed with trains so we bought him a train table. On the first night that we brought it home and assembled it he forgot about dinner. My kid loves to eat and constantly reminds us when it gets close to meals. So DH calls him to the table at 7:30, a whole hour and a half past usual dinner time. DS has a total meltdown and cries like we're taking away his only possession.
