My kids totally cry more when I'm at home. I have to lock myself in my room to get any privacy/rest, and even then I hear them wailing. They're no dummies.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: I hope that's all it is and that tomorrow she is better! I could tell the nanny was worn out when she left just now!

This would happen when I was working in a daycare. The parents would drop their kids off, but would hover just on the other side of the wall and I swear the kids could sense it! They just could sense that Mom or Dad was still in the building and would cry and cry until they left. It was a really weird thing, but it happens! I felt terrible because I know as soon as they would leave, their kid would be just fine, but all they could hear was them crying! They just know you're there and want you. :)

I don't know if it's because I'm home (I'm trying to stay out of the way and get stuff done like paying bills and office work), but H has been crying her face off today for the nanny - super cranky! But the minute I show up, she's sunshine and smiles! This morning I thought she was pretty much back to herself after he 4 month shots had her majorly grumpy through yesterday afternoon. And then once the nanny got here, she has been a Grumpapotamus!

And to top it off, she gets pissed when the nanny tries to feed her a bottle. I had bought ready-made formula that Nanny opened on Monday and it has to be used w/in 48 hours, so we were going to use that to supplement and then I was going to pump. H didn't really eat much today and she fussed a lot for the nanny. I had to go ship some stuff and do errands, and the nanny said she didn't cry as much when I was gone.

Do you think it's a seperation anxiety thing? Is it weird that she's normally totally sweet for the nanny, and yesterday and today she just decided she wants nothing to do with her or the bottle?

Did I spoil her somehow in the last few days?
