It really is empowering. </p> <p>@Mrs. Tricycle: lol yes it is painful. I tried to remind myself leading up to it that it was only a temporary pain and at the end of it all you will have your baby. But don't ask me right now if I'd do it again...</p> <p>@Thehistoryofus: We're doing great now. We came home Tuesday around noon. We stayed an extra night because he wasn't breastfeeding well the first day and the doctors encouraged us to stay so we could get more help. After delivery he latched on for 40 minutes and then was out. In the first 24 hours we could only get him latched on a couple of times and for only like a few minutes at a time. I think he was just exhausted from L&amp;D and just wanted to sleep! After that initial 24 hours, he started feeding more and for longer.
