@Thehistoryofus: she takes 3-4 bottles during the day because she gets a bedtime bottle (she sleeps better that way instead of nursing).

she gets a small morning bottle around 3 oz. 4 oz after her morning nap, sometimes a 3oz bottle after her afternoon nap. and 6 oz at bedtime. so 13-16 oz/day over 10 hours. i also give charlie 2 oz in his bedtime bottle every night as well. although i haven't been making the 16oz/day that olive needs, so i may have to take his milk away!

she was also sick for a while, and was pretty much only on breastmilk, and has just started eating solids again.

mine started to decline around 10 months too! i went back to work when LO was 7-months, so i was pumping twice a day at work... and she was already sleeping through the night so i never needed to do any night feedings (and i did not want to wake up to pump). so i was breastfeeding the first and last feedings of the day, and pumping two times in the middle. i tried to keep my supply up by taking fenugreek and milk thistle and mother's milk tea... but by 11-months i was ok with ending the breastfeeding relationship. LO had started to squirm all over the place too and was constantly distracted so it was starting to become a challenge trying to breastfeed. it seemed like she was starting the self-wean process on her own and i was fine with that.

@Mrs. Bee: How much milk does she take during the day? At 9 months, we dropped our LO down to 10 ounces (2 five ounce bottles) during a 10 hour day at daycare. Shes been fine with that and then nurses 2-3 times.

Around 3m which was shortly after I went back to work. I never had good pumping output plus the environment at my office went from being very supportive to being very hostile while I was on maternity leave and the stress of it all took a huge blow to my supply.

LO is 3 months and I went from having too much milk to a major decline since she sleeps through the night. At first I got up to pump but I've been so tired. I just ordered the More Milk Plus and am going to add 2 more pumping sessions, one right before I go to bed and one around 3 a.m. I'm trying to go a year so I need to stop being lazy about it even though I hate pumping.

Mine has already started to decline at 4 mths pp. Between the inability at work and LO sleeping through the night, I don't know how long I'll be able to keep this up.

I think mine started around 10.5 months. I noticed a little less output. then I started pumping less. Liv is 1 year and 1 week now and Ive stopped pumping during the day, and she only nurses morning, bedtime, and before naps to get to sleep, which I need to put an end to.

womp womp......

Olive has never slept through the night (except for a couple of flukes), but she sleeps 14 hours a night so I don't want to mess with it.

she's been sleeping longer stretches at night (10 hours straight last night), and I've been pumping 3, 4 times max in the day. I could probably maintain my supply if I pumped 5 times a day, but I'm just too lazy at this point since she's almost 10 months old, and I have a small stash.

When did your supply start to decline?
