I loved it but as you can see, the rings never sat flush and it drove me crazy. I sometimes got sad that I'll never ever have my original engagement ring back, but I really picked out the setting and Wagon Sr. didn't have much say in it (he picked the diamond, I picked the setting). I am TOTALLY IN LOVE with it!! Everything I expected and more. Just a reminder: This is my Mother's Day, Push Present, 7th anniversary, Christmas, and Birthday present. :) We added up how much we might have spent on each present and made that our budget, and our wonderful jeweler was able to do it in just two short weeks. My original engagement ring had 2 baguette sidestones, and I had a wedding ring made with 3 baguettes, but the two rings never matched up. So I had all 5 baguettes re-set into what is now my wedding ring, and my center stone re-set into a solitaire. This re-set is my solitaire with two .62ctw sidestones in a raised basket setting (to sit flush with my wedding ring) with a knife edge band. Again, I'm totally in love. :) Even though I liked my other two (!!!) settings, I feel as though this is the ring I should have had all along... it's very much my style and I can wear it forever. (I hope!!!) And my favorite part is that it looks good with my very unusual, very difficult to match wedding ring.
