We had a minor flood down there in September and FINALLY got around to replacing the carpet. </p> <p>The house was super dusty and gross, and i was annoyed that DH wasnt answering my "im home" phone call (he stayed at the beach for another night) so instead of throwing in a load of laundry and going to bed, which was my initial plan, I threw in a load of wash and started dusting and mopping. </p> <p>I just finished dusting and I hear splashing. The washer was overflowing...and some of it was seeping into our BRAND NEW carpet. </p> <p>I turned off the water, and started sucking up the water with the carpet scrubber, and called my father in law to come over and help me. Meanwhile DH finally calls me back and i explain whats going on his response: "what do you want me to do about it, im 3 hrs away." grgh. </p> <p>Meanwhile FIL arrives. He helped me out, dragged our wet laundry out of there and managed to drain the washer. It's a broken or dirty sensor of some kind. </p> <p>Pregnant lady me worked up an appetite, and there's nothing in our fridge, so I'm on the edge again. I open the freezer and a plastic frozen mug falls out and hits me square on the ankle. </p> <p>Then my husbands best friend comes over to our garage and starts loading up supplies for their side business, only I didn't know it was him and seriously consider calling 911. luckily I realize it's him after I run and put my contacts back in. </p> <p>I finally get to sleep after 1 am, and had to get up at 6 to set up a fundraiser. My ankle is throbbing and I tweaked my back- plus I put on my regular-sized stretchy t shirt and it made me look like I was starring in an episode of 16 and pregnant.</p> <p>Sorry for the long rant...it was one heck of a night. </p>
