I remember you from WB. :) </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/my-parenting-lesson-today-just-hang-out#post-252533 Wed, 08 Aug 2012 20:44:51 +0000 lemondrop 252533@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>We are in San Diego this week for a conference/vacation, so I have been burning up the stroller wheels at all of the usual tourist sites- beach, zoo, Padres game, Sea World, downtown, etc...</p> <p>Today at Sea World after our stroller wheel literally exploded (sigh, I over-inflated it!), my husband reminded me that I don't need to go to all of these places. It makes absolutely no difference to our 7-month-old son, he is just happy to be around us. </p> <p>It really put things into perspective for me, this is one of the few times in his life that he will just be happy to be around us and not need outside entertainment. So we are taking the day off tomorrow and relaxing!</p> <p>I have also learned that next time we go to all these places, it will NOT be summer vacation either- both times I have been here before in January and not had to fight the crowds! </p>
