When my thyroid is out of whack my cycles are irregular. Is it possible something is going on there?

Were you sick at all this cycle? I had a minor bug this cycle (before I ovulated) and I am currently four days late, but I also ovulated 10 days late.

@macintosh: Maybe an anovulatory cycle? I think that can postpone up to a couple weeks.

I wouldn't worry yet, but maybe make an appointment with your OB? My cycles were super irregular when I was younger, so this wouldn't have been too out of the norm for me in high school. Now that I'm older my periods are more regular, but I did have a period come 12 days late during a super stressful month.

I know you said you haven't been more stressed, but have you been sick or taking any new kind of medication?

@macintosh: ah I see. I unfortunately know nothing about the details of IVF.. but maybe that at least gives you somewhere to call and find out more info. If it's just once I don't know that a doctor would be worried but it can't hurt to call right?

@2littlepumpkins: I should mention my first was IVF due to male factor. We have a few embryos frozen, but I'm not sure how a hormonal issue could affect a FET. I just wasn't ready to think about that for at least another year.

Before I had my first I sometimes skipped entire months. No idea why. Did you get pregnant easily with your first?

There's no way I'm pregnant. DH and I haven't been intimiate in months. I'm 2 weeks late when I'm normally very regular. The reason this worries me is because I'm 34 and I want to have a 2nd child. What if it's perimenopause? I haven't gained or lost weight, no more stress than usual, and I've always been very regular. Ugh. Has anyone had this happen before?
