See a Chiropractor who is able to work with pregnant ladies.

IT. IS. WORTH. IT!

For the pelvic pain/lower back (PGP is what I have)
I got an adjustment AND was given some exercises to do:
1. Pelvic tilts while laying on my back...Do 10 & hold for 10 seconds. <---Amazing for the lower back pain that literally takes my breath away!
2. I lay on the ground and DH stands & holds my leg around my ankle & foot and pulls my leg (straight back)... it stretches it out from my pelvis. <--- Ask the chiropractor to show you how to do this.

Don't take wide steps and try and not step sideways (quick or too much "scissors motion" makes it worse.

For the crazy hurting swollen ladies parts that just HURT (mine is usually the top where the pubic bone part is):
My midwife said: 2-3 brisk 10 minute walks to get some circulation there... it REALLY HELPS!.. Seriously I when she told me that I though "Pfft I can hardly walk as is" but it DID help get circulation there and it feels MUCH better!

Hope that helps some... Doing all 3 of these have REALLY helped me and I was pretty much bed bound almost in tears b/c I slipped and hurt myself (pulled my groin & threw my pelvis out of place).... Goodluck =)

It really helped me when I ate bananas. Stretching also helped.

Yes, it was miserable! The best way I could describe it was that it felt someone had kicked me there. My OB said that, unfortunately, there's nothing you can do about it except to use some warm compresses and/or Tylenol... which, for the record, did nothing for the pain. The best thing I found to keep the pain down was wear tennis shoes for the last part of the pregnancy. (They don't always look good w/ dress pants, but who's really going to say that to a pregnant woman?)

Yes, I remember feeling that with my first pregnancy. It felt SO sore, like someone beat me up down there with a bat. It felt more sore than painful for me. But it did take alot of effort to sit/stand and walk. I told my doc and he said it was normal. But if you're concerned and if it's super painful, you can call your OB juuuuust in case.

I never figured out how to make the lower back/tailbone pain go away. Though my OB basically told me there wasn't anything that could be done, hopefully yours can help. If you're in a lot of pain, I think it's good to call - just in case. :)

I would call your doctor. It may be a Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction, which is basically separate pubic bone.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symphysis_pubis_dysfunction

I had this (felt it the last two weeks of pregnancy) and didn't even know I had it til after I delivered. Since any type of pushing (hard stool and delivery) exacerbates it, I unknownly made it much worse during labor, to the point where I couldn't walk unassisted and needed help getting out of bed for almost a month post-partum. Not trying to scare you but definitely get it checked out so you can prevent further damage/pain. They had me wear this tight belt across my pelvis to help with the pressure.

I see a physical therapist to deal with my pelvic/hip/lower back pain. Its very painful to walk/move/stand up, and I walk like an old lady too. They have to do manual work on my hips/back/pelvic bones, and then I have to do daily exercises to strengthen the muscles in my pelvic area.
My OB has also referred me to a prenatal chiropractor, but I have not seen him yet.

Do tell your doctor how bad the pain is – some pain is normal, but like my OB said, they don’t just tell women to “deal” with it like they used to. There are things you can do to relieve the pain! Good luck!

Is anyone else dealing with this? My 30 week appointment is on Tuesday so I am trying to wait until then to talk to my doc, but today it has been really bad! I'm walking like an old lady. I have to stand and sit slowly. Do you think I'm okay to wait until my appointment to discuss, or should I give my office a call? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to relieve this pain?
