@TurtleDoves: It's still early, don't count it out. My left used to be my under producer and now it has switched. So, it can change. Keep up the good work and good luck

You can always try fenugreek. That always helped for me when I feel that my supply has taken a dip from stress or for whatever reason. I always try to make sure my LO nurses at least every 4 hours now that he's 7-months-old. He eats between 3-5 hours now. Good luck!

@TurtleDoves: yes, keep going! I think if you continue stimulating that breast as much as possible, it'll start producing again. Good luck!!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: Yepp, I've got a B cup going on there and a full C on the other side. :/

Thanks for all the tips:)..I took them and decided to pump like a mad woman today and after all that pumping I actually got 3oz out of it (total). But, I usually get 30z out of it at *every* pump session. Oh well...I will keep going...something is better than nothing!

I had that problem from the very beginning and still have it to this day and my LO is 6 months old.

Pretty much I drank MM tea, lots of water, and pumped on that side as much as possible even if nothing came out. Eventually supply picked back up, but it still produces much less than the other side. When I go along time without feeding it doesn't get engorged like the other one does but I know there Is still milk in there. I have to wear a pad in my bra sometimes on that side because the difference can be noticeable!

If your LO won't drink from it, at least keep pumping to stimulate it. You can try massaging while you pump. If you have access to an LC or BF support group, they can offer more help and suggestions. The LC at my BF group said that the left typically produces better and is preferred by babies.

I had a lefty that was much less producing than righty. I would put him the righty as much as possible but if he was upset start with the left and then the right and then the left again. I also would pump while he ate off the other side and then I would put him on the side I just pumped.

You may want to try a LC or the la leche league for ideas as well.

A few days ago I started to grow suspicious that my right breast was not filling up nor was it releasing any milk. I knew this because DS would fuss and cry and still be hungry after trying to work with it for 5-10mins. I confirmed it by pumping...NOTHING CAME OUT! I usually get at least 3oz on that side.
And the weird part is: I am not engorged on that side. I *feel* empty on that side as well. It isn't full and it isn't hard. It feels like it just finished a good feed.
I am really worried....I already don't have a huge supply as it is, but now I am only one sided?
And I am fearful as to what this might mean for the other side.
How do you suggest I get it back in business? Keep pumping? Nothing comes out when I do, but maybe the stimulation will help it.
DS won't suckle on it anymore...he is too frustrated and hungry to help me stimulate it.
