She looks like a sweetheart. Thanks for sharing your story. I, too, had a planned c-section. At about 34 weeks an u/s revealed that DS's shoulders and head were so large that they worried he would get stuck in the birth canal. So we scheduled a c-section for 38 weeks. While at first I was disappointed that I wouldn't have the natural birth I had expected, it was nice knowing that I probably wouldn't have to fret about water breaking, labor, delivery, etc. All in all the procedure was a breeze and if we have another I doubt I'll try for a VBAC. She is absolutely gorgeous! </p> <p>I had an (unplanned) c section and I felt like the surgery itself was not nearly as bad as I expected either!
