I called my insurance and they talked with the office back and forth for awhile but it looks like it will be 100% covered. I have only ever had one cavity and at my last cleaning in november when DD was 8 months the dentist said I had an inkling of A cavity. Went back two weeks ago and X-rays showed nine cavities. N-I-N-E!!!!!! And same that our dental insurance only covers metal fillings. So far we have repaired 4/9 and I'm our $380. WTH is insurance for then?! ARGH</p> <p>I never had morning sickness to point of throwing up but I had a m/c in February and stopped taking my prenatal and calcium supplements while continuing to nurse DD twice a day. That stinks! I don't have dental insurance so I can sympathize with how expensive it can be.</p> <p>I didn't have any cavities pp but I do have receding gums. I guess it's due partly because of aggressive brushing (lol) and pregnancy hormones. I might need a gum transplant (ew!!) sometime in my future. Yay. Anyway, I take great care of my teeth and I had zero cavities before my pregnancy. The dentist thinks my 9 months of throwing up caused some damage - it looks like my molars were protected by my tongue when I got sick (yeah, TMI). My other teeth really suffered so now I have FOUR cavities. I've only had one cavity in the past and that was after my first pregnancy.</p> <p>Ugggh. On top of that, my insurance only covers metal fillings!! I have to pay the difference for porcelain :( which is quite a bit! </p>
