E's a bit obsessed with my boobs lately and never breastfed. She just likes to poke them and buries her head in my chest often. But she does it to my husband, too. I think chests are just a cozy spot for kids

My DD weaned at 18 months but still loves to just slightly put her hand at the top of my chest. Totally a habit comfort thing.

My DD did this when I was pregnant with DS. She was only bf for four months and I found out I was pregnant when she was 10 months. At about a year she was sniffing me.

@Corduroy: my LO has recently been doing his too! She is 17 months and stopped breastfeeding at 11 months so likely has no recollection. I'm also definitely not pregnant. So strange!

My son has been obsessed with my boobs since birth (weaned at 2 years old and now 3 1/2). But yes he has started smelling them during pregnancy. So something must smell differently.

I'm 14.5 weeks pregnant with LO2 and LO1 (20 months) has taken a sudden interest in my chest. She presses her nose and lips against the center of my chest and breathes deeply like she's inhaling me. The first time she did this she was acting so giddy it was like she was getting high. Giggles and snuggles with this euphoric look on her face. She's been doing it for about a week at night but not at bedtime.

We weaned at 16 months and she seems to have no memory of breastfeeding. She doesn't seem to have any interest in nursing as all the attention is focused on the center of my chest.

Could she already be smelling milk at this point? Did anyone else's LO do this?
