Aww, I'm sorry. Sending so much sympathy. I'm currently only dealing with short lived tanturms - tantrum-lite, if you will - and I'm frequently at my wits end.

Oh sweetie I know that pain well and I definitely have pity on you. I don't have advice because, at 3.5, we're still going strong. But, try to let as much of it slide as you can but make sure you and your husband stay strong and united. Good luck!

I'm sorry! Been there, recently. Dd is very particular about who does what. It drives us nuts too. We try to keep it consistent about who does what tasks, and when she pushes back sometimes we have to just stick to our set boundary and let her cry. For a little while (after a couple months of intense grandma time) those tantrums were about an hour and sometimes several times a day. And she would follow and grab onto me/us while kicking and screaming and all we could really do was wait awhile and periodically try to talk to her. Anyway sometimes it doesn't make sense. It will end!

That's awful! I'm so sorry.

I wonder if you can pinpoint the route of her tantrums. Is it for attention? Does she feel more listened to when she's melting down vs asking normally? Or maybe she's just having a hard time living with a cranky 7 mo and that's her outlet.

Either way, that's crazy. Poor mom!!

oh momma big big hugs!!! i have been there with the tantrums that go on for days that u think are never going to end. its a stage that will pass, just keep telling yourself that. Every kid goes through it, and soon your sweet girl will be back.

My daughter is 2 and a half. She drives me nuts.

I know this isn't anything new, but HOLY COW. We have a threenager and she isn't even 3!

The last couple days she's been waking up in the morning and having what I can only call a tantrum. She freaks out the moment I enter her room, screams for her Dad, and will slam her door shut if I leave it open. Yesterday I got her calmed down enough that she was able to tell me that her room was only for big girls, and that Mama was a big Mama, and so not allowed.

Prior to these tantrums, I used to go into her room in the morning, and we'd play a game of hide and seek.. "where's my Sophie?? I wonder if she's in her bed.. HEY! Who's foot is this?" etc.

Aside from the morning tantrums, we've also been blessed with tantrums throughout the day. "WANT. GO. OUTSIIIIIIIIDE!!!".

She doesn't take kindly to the word NO.

I know I'm not alone in tantrumland, but seriously.. anyone else?

Oh, I also have a 7 month old who is getting 5 teeth at once, including two molars. Have pity on me.
