@Photo Book Girl: I went with Picaboo. I wanted to do Adorama, but my slow computer and slow internet connection couldn't handle their online editing stuff (this was 2 years ago). Picaboo worked because it was all downloaded to my computer then I only had to upload at the end. I got the Madison (I think-- the nicer, lay flat version) for me, and a basic lay flat version for my parents. Very happy with it!

@marionberry: I like checking out Shutterfly's templates when they add new ones, especially when making books for others, it's easier. :) @foodnerd81: oh cool - hope they were helpful! Can I ask who you ended up picking?

@Photo Book Girl: Off topic, but I may have spent hours analyzing your reviews before deciding what to do for my wedding album, so thanks :)

I did both a shutterfly book and a MyPublisher book for my mother's wedding...long story. The MyPublisher book actually turned out much better, as far as quality. I agree with @photo book girl that MyPublisher really doesn't have great stylized templates though, when compared to some cool ones I've seen off of shutterfly.

@regberadaisy hi! I think we were chatting about iphoto last week weren't we? LOL. I happen to write a blog on photo books. I have numerous posts and photos of my books if you want to take a look. If you want a quick recommendation, I would say Shutterfly and MyPublisher make nicer books than Snapfish. Shutterfly is great if you like to have lots of different themes and clip art, MyPublisher has great print quality and several nice paper options but very few book themes. So depends on your style and preference. Both print very nice quality books, but I find MyPublisher to be more vibrant and crisper, though I like my Shutterfly books very much as well. I print with both depending on the type of project I'm doing.
My Shutterfly reviews are here: http://www.photobookgirl.com/Shutterfly-reviews/
MyPublisher reviews: http://www.photobookgirl.com/MyPublisher-reviews/
Scrolling down towards the bottom of both pages will show links to the specific projects and more in-depth info on each. I also happen to track Groupon deals! Hope that helps!

Has anyone gotten both Snapfish/Shutterfly albums and MyPublisher albums? Are MyPublisher albums that much better or are they about the same?

I want to do albums for Mother's & Father's Day and wondering if I should take advantage of the Groupon today.
