@T.H.O.U.: thanks! I agree. I did put on his normal Shea Moisture lotion. He went right to sleep, no problem. I see how he is in the morning. Sometimes I second guess myself thinking I don't worry enough

@macintosh: STM response, I would wait it out unless it's really bad or bothering him. Maybe a bit of a mild lotion before bed.

DS has a rash that seems to be covering most of his body. I can feel the bumps on his chest, arms and legs and its visible on his back and shoulders.

I noticed it earlier today but it seems to be spreading for some reason. I wondered if maybe the nanny put too much soap or fabric softener in the laundry...? He's never had extremely sensitive skin. He has no known food allergies and hasn't eaten anything brand new today.

Any thoughts? He doesn't seem sick at all, he's about to fall asleep at his normal bedtime. Would you call the doctor if you were me? I'm afraid they won't be much help since tomorrow is Sunday. We were at the hospital outpatient clinic on Thurday for DH's appointment, maybe he could have picked something up there?

Warning, naked baby butts ahead...

ETA: deleted the butt pics
