It's a family name of a dear, dear person in my family who passed away about a year ago (at age 104!!). Her nickname was Olee, but her full name was Viola. </p> <p>Main concern: Violet is super common - would the nickname "vi" be too common? Also, would people pronouce it "VEE-ola" instead of "VI-ola"? </p>
