I have one I love that DH hates. I have about 10-15 I'd be happy with but DH is meh about them. He doesn't suggest any or bring any to the table so it gets frustrating. For our DS he didn't love anything but ok'd his name. It took us a long time to decide because he was set on it and I waffled. We had a back up and decided once he was born. With DS2 it was the same thing except I was stuck on a name that DH didn't love. Both times, I found names in his language that I liked and gave him the short list and let him pick. But I made sure I was only presenting options I<br /> I really liked. So the first time, he just chose between two names and the second time he chose between 3 names.</p> <p>This time, we hit a snag with the middle name. I was really set on a particular middle name and DH didn't like it, so I just back burnered the middle name discussion but mentioned my name every time someone asked if we'd figured out a name. Or neither of you could come up with any names you really loved? Or you had too many names you loved? </p> <p>Our issue is more that neither of us comes up with names we love. Sometimes one of us will like a name a lot and the other doesn't, but the first person is usually kind of luke warm about it anyway. We only ever had one name, boy or girl, that either of us just *loved*- and it's C's name! </p> <p>My friend and her SO both had one name they wanted and had a hard time deciding who got their way. </p>
