(My name is actually a lot more common than that. It's just hard to track because there's a lot of different ways it can be spelled, and it's also used as a nickname for other longer legal names.) We'd have a Juan or a Vivian, but I wouldn't use either of those.</p> <p>My husband's name was number 2. It drove him crazy because he had 5 friends in high school with the same first name. That would give us a Liam or an Olivia. I like Liam, but he wouldn't agree to it. William was actually at the top of our boy name list, but we would have used the more traditional nickname Will.</p> <p>The actual name we've picked out was number 7 in 2014. But popular names today equate to less people than they did in the 70s.
