<description>&#60;p&#62;@Chuckles:  I think okra is much starchier and gummy. This is more like a squash or zuchinni but even it absorbs a lot more liquid. I usually sauté it like I would any other Chinese vegetables. Peel all the hard skin off, cut however you like (I usually do thick slices or triangular). EVOO in pan, garlic, then veg, a little soy and liquid, then sweetener (I've been using honey lately). Steam for a few minutes - it cooks fast!
