He's not a super popular athlete, and the majority of people probably wouldn't make the connection, but enough people would (and would say something about it) that I'm really nervous about actually using the name. It's Braylon, like Braylon Edwards. He plays for the Seahawks now, but he played college at Michigan, which is my team, and I loved the name back when I first heard it when he played there. It's not, but my husband gets tired of it, so he simply says, "yes," or, "that's what people of YOUR generation think, but she's named after a character on Entourage." (Also not true.) It doesn't really bother me. I think Saul is common enough, AND Homeland isn't such a huge thing like Glee or the horrible Kardashians, so it would be fine. I'd avoid something that would be SO very associated with a show, though-- Renesmee, like someone said. Our original favorite boy name, which we have actually moved on from, was from a character in Confessions of a Shopaholic. We vowed to never tell anyone where we thought of it from if we used it! </p>
