I know he'd be fine, but I would be a wreck! There are a few people who have offered to help in case of an emergency, but I always hesitate to ask because I feel like maybe they just say that to be nice. Though I had to put my foot down and let him know that if our nanny is out sick or the baby is sick, he's got to take off next time because just because I have a desk job doesn't mean I take off all the time!</p> <p>It sucks. On one hand, I'm glad she didn't bring her illness over here, but on the other hand, it's not the best day for either of us to stay home. I'm also worried that she'll call out tomorrow, too. For a teacher, using sick days when I'm not actually sick is so hard. What do you do when your child care provider is sick? How does that work for an in-home daycare situation?</p> <p>On the plus side, Liam slept through the night last night (his sleep has been unpredictable lately) and slept in an hour later than usual!
