So if say she has them from 6am day 1 then all night, gets up with them in the morning and watches them that day until you get home I would just figure out a fair rate for that time frame asleep or awake. I was hoping for that! So she would be paid hourly until they went to sleep then a flat rate? Or when do you "cut off" the hourly rate? We have never discussed the cost of an overnight, just that she will do them if I need her to.</p> <p>My girls are both asleep by 830/9, and sleep until 6/7. We live right next to the beach and our nanny lives 25-30 mins inland, so she travels a fair amount to get to/from our house. So if she stayed the night, that does save her traveling back/forth however she is engaged and would be missing time with her fiancé.</p> <p>Do I offer a flat fee for overnights or is it just simply her hourly rate even though the kids and she will be sleeping?</p> <p>How does this work?</p> <p>Thanks for any advice! </p>
