I thought the calculator was free but taxes are certainly not cheap! If you have an accountant or even good googling skills you should be able to figure out what the tax benefits for you are. I thinkg it cost around $25/month and it was very easy to use. Other people have used local payroll services which worked fine but people are more likely to try weird setups like 1099s which aren't the right way. Did you like them? How much did it cost a month? Did they do all of the tax paperwork and payroll for you?</p> <p>We are trying to figure out if having a nanny is financially feasible, especially since she wants to have taxes deducted, etc. Neither of us are accountant-minded so we would want a pro to help us out. </p>
