My first reaction was that she isn't complaining about the child or demonstrating any negligence. She is probably just reaching out for adult interaction and enjoys talking about a child she obviously cares about. </p> <p>And perhaps the parents actually like the updates? A former co-worker of mine had her daughter in an in-home daycare, and the daycare provider has an entire photo album devoted to her charges. She would tag the parents in the pictures of the kids and put funny little stories along with them. I did ask about posting pictures on facebook because I was living away from my family/friends. So I had pictures of me with the kids up, but the parents knew about it and were tagged in the photos.<br /> The only time I ever posted statuses about the kids I nanny now was, "It's been a week since I saw them - miss them so much!" the mom never minded!</p> <p>As for being on the internet while the child's sleeping, both mom's actually said I could do whatever I want while they nap. Like, many such updates a day about the baby she is watching.</p> <p>Is that weird? I dunno, I think that maybe I'd feel funny if my nanny were writing things like that about my child. But...
