@psw27: We use pullups for night time. And LO1 has been potty trained for over a year and still wakes up wet most nights. Pullups are more expensive, but we use way fewer (1/day compared to the 5/day before), so overall the price is still lower than what we paid before. I just stock up when Target has a good sale. I think right now, if you buy 6 boxes, you can stack cartwheel and manufacturer coupons, plus get a $25 gift card back, and you end up paying something like $14/box for the gigantic boxes.

We stuck with the same diapers. We just tell her "it's time for your nighttime diaper" and she understands and is happy to take it off in the morning. Haven't bothered with pull ups because the diapers just go on before nap and bed and come off first thing when she wakes up.

We just stayed with diapers. I read that they feel more wetness with Pull-Ups (that's kind of the point since you want them to feel the wetness so they go on the potty). My son is nowhere near ready to pull diapers at nap or night, so I didn't think Pull-Ups would be productive. I didn't want the wetness to bother his skin overnight. Some nights he completely fills his diapers, so I worried about leaks with Pull-Ups.

We just use Huggies Little Movers because those are the diapers that fit him best. We never needed to use overnights with him, and he still fits into size 6 (size 6 of regular Huggies and Pampers do not fit him as well). I guess when we get to the point of 6s not fitting we will move to Pull-Ups.

@psw27: I had the same questions and just tried a bunch of what we still had but ended up ordering nighttime pullups and am happy with those. I like that DD can still put them on/take them off by herself and they keep her dry at night (she still wets a lot!). I was hoping the regular pullups would work at night since I bought a bunch of those when we started potty training but no dice! I'm selling them instead. Huggies overnights are also great. We used them until they ran out.

@winniebee: @KT326: Thanks ladies! I think I'll do pullups for the daytime, he might need something heavier overnight since he still tends to be pretty wet in the mornings! I'm just grateful he's mostly potty trained!

We use Huggies Goodnites. The pull ups weren't absorbent enough for us. My son is a heavy night wetter and just does not wake up to go pee.

My son is doing great with potty training but we still put him in a diaper for nap and overnight. I need to order more "diapers" and I am wondering if I should get him something completely different looking going forward - Should he nap in pull ups? Should I get him overnight diapers so that they look different from his old style diapers so that he knows he's all done with diapers? I'm just wondering if he only had Cars or Thomas pullups or something it would further remind him that he's all done with diapers. What did you do that worked?
