oh it's so hard because you know what they want! when we sleep trained, i went into my bedroom, turned on the white noise machine, put in earphones and tried to watch a movie.

you can find comfort in the knowledge that he is able to take naps at daycare without being rocked--that is huge that he does that! so you know he has the ability, it's more about what he's used to at home vs. at daycare.

@hilsy85: yes. I think i also put him down a *smidge* too early. Another 10 minutes up and I think i would have been golden. I just have to be strong. It's a good thing I had my lunch to distract me or I don't even think i would have made it as far as I did.

:( It is hard!! Do you have a video monitor? I found that was super helpful, because I could see that he was OKAY even if he sounded upset...

So L is almost 6 months old. He goes to daycare t-R and is home with me Monday and DH Friday. I know that daycare puts him in his crib for naps - they don't rock him down unless he's super fussy. So I tried today.

Guys, I am such a wuss. I made it through 2 10 minute bouts of crying with checks before I caved and rocked him. He fell asleep instantly. This is so hard!
