@yoursilverlining: Thanks! Problem is she's napping on our bed. But we're not going to sleep anytime soon. I'm just a nervous nellie about her rolling off the bed, so I keep going in to check. Maybe a couple more of these nights and then I'll relax and really think it was a Freebie!

@shopaholic: Enjoy your dinner!! During growth spurts and also times of transition/activity (like days where there was A LOT going on at daycare) LO would crash on the way home and just sleep all evening/night!

If she wakes up within an hour of her normal time, I might try to do your normal routine....but really, if she is tired, she'll probably just sleep, or go back down super easy if she does wake up.

Enjoy your evening. When this happens we always feel like "well, that was a freebie!"
;-)

@yoursilverlining: Thanks! I am trying to enjoy MY dinner. She is STILL sleeping and we're 15 min. away from the start of her normal bedtime! I'm wondering if it's a growth spurt!

Once in a while my LO does this, and I just let her sleep. She sleeps through dinner, and then usually wakes up several hours after her dinner (but while we're still up), and I'll give her a bottle and she's back out before she finishes. Sleep does seem to beget sleep, and if they need it, I say give it to them! :)

Miracle of miracles! K has been napping for almost 2 hours! I can't even remember the last time in months that she's done a 2 hours stretch! Probably can count all of them in her whole life on my fingers! Problem is, we're less than an hour from her regular bedtime.

What do you do when you LO's nap is close to bedtime? Do you wake them up? Do you push back bedtime? Does it affect their night-time sleep? I'm wondering if she's going to sleep right through bedtime! I'm seriously in new territory with this one!
