DS will be 8 months in a few days, and this is the schedule we're working towards (I've just started him on a schedule, so it may take a few weeks to really get it down):

6:00 - wake up
6:30 - bottle
7:00 - breakfast
8:30/9:00 - nap
10:00 - wakeup
10:30 - bottle
12:00 - lunch
12:45 - bottle (just a couple ounces)
1:00 - nap
4: 00 - wakeup
4:30 - bottle
5:30 - dinner
6:30 - bottle
7:00 - asleep
12:00 - bottle

We do solids 30-45 minutes after waking and nursing, around 12, and at 5:30-6. Naps are at 8:30-9 and 1-1:30, plus the occasional catnap in the evening. LO nurses on demand and we try to time it so that there are at least 45 minutes between solids and nursing. It's all very confusing at first!

Trying something new today, DS stayed up between his feedings... I nursed him, just fed him lunch, and am going to put him down for a nap in a minute (he is too busy munching on Cheerios now). Hopefully we get a good long nap out of him! I am crossing my fingers!

What does your daily schedule look like for your LO? We are working on transitioning to 2 naps soon and are also just starting to add a third meal for our DS. (He is 8 months old)

I am just curious how your schedules are with all of these things. The hard thing is that DS usually nurses every 3 hours, sometimes 4 if he has had breakfast so sometimes he may be ready for a nap, but need to nurse 30 minutes after he goes down so we get a short nap. Do you just nurse them early? Did your LO stretch our nursing/bottles? Or, am I just over thinking this? :)

Also, we have been feeding solids after nursing, are you supposed to switch this to solids before nursing sometime?
