This happens to us all. the. time. It drives me totally crazy. We put her down for her nap, she poops and then understandably refuses to sit down or sleep. It's hard for us to know if she pooped or if she's just crying because she doesn't want to sleep. I've often wished for a smell function on our monitor.

Seriously though, let me know if you figure out anything that works. She always wakes up from her naps with poops and I have no clue when she does it! Sneaky pooper.

This usually happens to us in the morning when it's way too early to be up. I'm usually hoping that she'll fall back asleep and I hear the sound of pooping through the monitor and think "game over time for me to get up."

@Mrs. Yoyo: haha! She has to go down by 12 or she doesn't sleep more than a half hour, so it's killing me to get lunch in her by naptime.

This has happened to us ... sometimes he still does it but manages to sleep through. I try to allow enough time between lunch and his nap for poopin' ... but it's a crapshoot (ha.)

This is the worst. Pooping woke LO up last night at 12 and 4 am, and I was going crazy. She hasn't pooped during the night since she was about a month old!

Yes! LO used to do this all. the. time. I don't know if its because he grew out of it or what but its less frequent now. He's almost 10 months. I try to feed him at least 1.5h before nap time and a lot of times he will poop before nap time.

Oh yes....the literal crap nap!

It happens to us often. I've tried changing around his feeding schedule and pumping his legs an hour or so before naptime but i just can't control or predict it. Sorry...I'm no help. :(

Poopatoge? I've finally gotten Wonder Baby to nap at the same time every day. She goes down easily and sleeps for longer than 20 minutes. Success! However, she seems to poop during her nap every single day. So annoying! I know she wants a longer nap but once she poops it's over.

Does your baby do this? Any advice?

(sorry, hostesses, I forgot to put this in the right category)
