I love the parks and I want everyone to be able to access them. On the other hand, maintaining roads, bridges, visitor centers, and trails all cost money. I would rather the parks charge more then go into disrepair. Perhaps it would be better to not make the price increase so drastic though- this seems pretty steep. It gets terribly overrun by day trippers driving in but I am loathe to suggest such a high increase as it makes it way less affordable for the every day person/low income family. Hey poor/low-income people -- no National Parks for you! National Parks are not businesses and they are not Disneyland. It's the responsibility of the federal government to maintain them.
