Not sure if it was the honey or the smell of it made her gag. But she immediately started coughing and ended up vomiting some of her dinner. This! I totally forgot... We buy local honey too and I remember hearing you're not supposed to eat raw honey from anywhere other than locally because of the pollen. It is safe under 2. We also do zarbees cough syrup at night. Zarbees is natural and honey based. We both had really bad allergies - to the point of stepping outside and getting insanely miserable. We started eating a lot of local honey after I read an article that it helps, and now we have NO allergy symptoms! We're able to open the house even! The theory behind it is that you're ingesting the local pollen by eating honey, so your body builds up an immunity to it or something?
