@Emsmems: a whole week? That's awful.

@Seattlemom: I don't think so- no other signs of mastisis or anything. Just really crappy feeling.

Hardly slept at all last night, then c woke up at five, but nursed her and she went back to sleep until 8:30! And I slept until 8:30. So feeling somewhat better now. Good thing c likes sitting and reading books though.

@Foodnerd81: tylenol is def ok if you just need to take the edge off with aches. Could you possibly have a plugged duct or mastitis?

I just had this and it was a weird stomach bug going around. It took a whole week before I felt better!

I had some weird nausea and digestive stuff leading up to getting my first PP period at 17 months PP. It was on and off for a few weeks, and felt hormonal to me, but could have been something else I guess. Good news is that I'm on cycle 2 now and feeling physically more back to normal. I hope it passes for you!

@Rockies11: yeah I definitely would have taken zofran if I had it. No such luck.

@catlady: this blows. I after over two years without a period I realize it's probably time but I could do without the nausea. Oh well. I'm totally just a baby when I'm sick

I've felt nauseous a few times recently since my period came back a couple months ago, I think it happens when I ovulate. We're in the same boat here, slowly weaning (I dropped all daytime pumping and nursing sessions about two months ago now so just morning and night nursing). I usually just take an advil and try to ignore. Working out helps a bit too.

if you have leftover zofran it's awesome for nausea and it's bf compatible. if not, you can call motherrisk about any medication and they will tell you what you can and can't take.

@Applesandbananas: ha- I tried to look at it and it was loading too slow on my phone so I just laid and wallowed. Thanks for the reminder. :)

Feeling somewhat better but still pretty crappy. I truly don't know how I will deal with a pregnancy and a toddler at some point.

I think I had some pretty decent nausea when I day weaned LO...and then again when we stopped breastfeeding. It could be that!

ETA: I don't know what you can take while still breastfeeding - I don't take much because meds tend to knock me out.

I feel like crap. Like stomach bug crappy, very nauseous, and generally crap feeling. I don't really know what it could be but food poisoning is probably out since everyone else is fine. I still haven't gotten my period since having C 16 months ago but I randomly took a pregnancy test last week so that's not it.

So two questions- 1) what can I do for it while still breastfeeding? 2) did anyone get this shortly before their period came back? C just day weaned herself so just BFing morning and night, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's coming.

Thankfully my sweet girl is being really chill right now and took a 3 hour nap earlier, despite having two molars coming in!
