Thanks, this is really helpful, I will check out nature made. And good point about the folic acid!

I take rainbow lites (the one time a day one). They claim it has something in it to help with nausea and being more digestible. I threw up until 22 weeks with my second and I usually managed to keep the prenatal down! I hope you feel better soon!

Oh yeah agree - if you can't manage any prenatal just take the folic acid tabs - they are tiny. Prenatals are for your health and not so much the baby, but the folic acid is really important for the babe.

+1 on the Nature Made prenatal. I had SEVERE morning sickness for 6 months with DS1 and 4 months of sickness with DS2 and this was the only one I could take. It's ONE softgel so no gross vitamin smell and easy to swallow. I took it every night before bed with my half a Unisom and B12 and would pass out.

I still take it as my multivitamin so obviously I love it.

I couldn't keep a prenatal down. My midwife suggested just taking folate or folic acid. I could manage those usually and it was fine. Bedtime was usually better for me or with my lunch.

I took gummies with my lunch (my "best" meal/time of day) during the first tri, then switched back to the rainbow light ones I prefer once I felt better. The RL ones were def making me feel not so great.

ETA I just ate both gummies in the dose with lunch, hadn't heard it was necessary to spread them out.

I took Rainbow Complete, which has ginger in it and I didn't have any issues (I had nausea and vomiting for the first 16 weeks). Only issue was that the pills were ginormous!

I found taking half in the morning half in the evening helped. Taking before bed did not help, it just made me unable to sleep from the nausea. The gummies would probably help, because they don't have iron, which is usually the biggest culprit for nausea (but you may need the iron, especially if you have aversions).

I just took/take mine the minute before I turn off my lamp to go to bed. Mine did make me nauseous so I did it right before I slept so I didn't notice it.

ETA: oops just saw you already tried that. Hope it gets better soon!
I've heard good things about Rainbow Lites.

Gummys for sure. And if they do require 2 a day, break them up and take one at night and one in the morning.

Thank you all - this is super helpful. I've been trying to take it before bed, but last night I couldn't even keep down the diclegis pill - let alone the giant prenatal - so I figured I should try it with a meal, which didn't help... Right now my nausea doesn't really seem to have any rhyme or reason as to what time of day is better or worse That's a good idea about trying a sour one...maybe I will try getting a couple of these and experimenting with what works best.

I personally couldn't handle the gummies. I take the Nature's Made gelcap with DHA and I take it literally right before bed. It's even in my bedside table and that's the only way I've ever been able to stomach my prenatal.

I take Thorne Basic Prenatal (it has methylated folate) - it's 3 per day. I usually take 1 with each meal. I have to take it with food or I'll puke. I also take with orange juice, because the taste is a trigger too.

I take gummy vitamins because I can't handle the taste of the coating on regular vitamins (even non-pregnant they make me seriously gag). I take 2 gummies once per day. I also take gummy vitamin D...again 2/day. It doesn't say anything about needing to take them multiple times a day.

Oh and I take mine at night because my nausea wasn't very bad at night.

I took gummy vitamins with my first pregnancy and I only had to take them once a day. I think they were Vitafusion? I picked them bc A) once/day and B) they were kind of sour, which helped my nausea. FWIW, the gummies don't contain iron (at least none that I've seen?) so once your MS lessens I would either add an iron supplement or switch back to your old prenatals. I didn't add any iron until after my 24 week appt and I was pretty anemic.

Have you tried experimenting with what time of day you take your current vitamin? Usually if I do mine right before bed it's ok

I've been there, it totally sucks. Hang in there, mama!

Anyone have any suggestions? The one I'm taking (best nest with folate) is not really working. I think diclegis suppressed vomiting just enough that I don't quite puke it up but have spent an hour hovering over my trash can on the verge of puking it up.

It seems like a lot of the gummies you have to take several times per day - maybe that's the only way to make it more digestable, but I wonder if it would just make me queasy that much more often...

Thanks
